Vanderbilt star quarterback Diego Pavia returns from injury against Texas Longhorns

He Vanderbilt Commodores They have suffered a great scare against Texas Longhorns.

Late in the second quarter, Commodores star quarterback Diego Pavia was injured on a running play, in what was reported as a left knee injury.

Pavia went directly to the medical tent after the play and was replaced by backup Nate Johnson.

Johnson came in and ran a handful of plays to keep Vanderbilt’s offense alive, although he nearly threw an interception to Longhorns linebacker Anthony Hill.

Shortly after, Pavia returned the match. The Longhorns forced a turnover a couple of plays later thanks to a Michael Taaffe hit.

Texas took control in Vanderbilt territory near midfield.
