What the Browns said after beating the Ravens

Head Coach Kevin Stefanski

On Baltimore’s last trip:

“Any time you play with that offense and that quarterback, he’s outstanding. It’s going to be a challenge. And it’s a challenge because he can hurt you with your legs, he can hurt you with your arm, obviously. And we just, we had our three times dead, so I tried to use them and give our guys a break and talk to our coaches, to our players, what the situation was, what we were trying to accomplish in those moments and, finally, we did it scary final play.”

On the defense of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry:

“It’s an easy game plan to tell you what we’re going to do, it’s hard to execute. And I thought about the guys really, and I just go back to last week, what our defense did against a really good offense this week. I mean , they’re going to make their plays because they have good players. But I thought (John Harbaugh) had a great game and had the game plan that you need to stop that team, and we outplayed them.”

On Kyle Hamilton’s near-interception:

“I think the throw got away from Jameis. Elijah (Moore) ran a good route. I thought Elijah played well today. Yeah, that’s what this game is. I mean, this game is tough and they’re going to make their plays, we “We have to make our plays and sometimes the ball hangs in the air. I thought the spike ball that Shelby (Harris) had, I thought that ball was there for years, so I probably took a couple years off its life.”
