Ted Danson’s Retirement Home Caper in A Man Inside Trailer

Ted Danson is accepting a retirement research job on Mike Schur’s new Netflix comedy, “A Man on the Inside.”

In the trailer for “A Man on the Inside,” Charles (Danson) receives a challenge from his daughter, Emily (Mary Elizabeth Ellis), who expresses concern about his retired lifestyle in the wake of the deaths of his mother and wife. , saying, “When Mom was alive, they lived a big, full life.”

“I’m giving you a challenge: find something that excites you,” he tells his father, who responds: “It’s a good challenge; “I accept.”

Quite quickly, Charles finds an advertisement for a research assistant, with the requirement that the applicant be between 75 and 85 years old. He learns that the job is to find a missing family heirloom within a retirement community, and his job is to pretend to be a new resident, while sharing information and a list of suspects with his new employer (Lilah Richcreek Estrada).

“Your first job is to lay low, meet people, and start compiling a list of suspects,” Charles’s employer tells him, which results in Charles meeting the community’s colorful group of residents.

As Charles attempts to solve the crime, he finds himself enjoying the company the house has to offer, with one resident confessing her impure thoughts about Pedro Pascal via Zoom while another informs him that happy hour starts at 3 p.m. “This place It’s crazy, it’s like high school!” says Carlos.
