Man seriously injured in mobility scooter accident in Sheffield

A man suffered fatal injuries when his scooter collided with a car.

South Yorkshire Police said the scooter collided with a silver Renault Modus at the junction of Nether Shire Lane and Sicey Avenue in Sheffield at around 15:30 BST on October 23.

The force said the man, 75, was taken to hospital with a serious head injury, where he remains in a life-threatening condition.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have footage of what happened is asked to contact police.
