The incident took place on December 22 and one person remains in hospital.
The arrested man has been charged and will appear in Waitākere District Court tomorrow.

A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in the Auckland suburb of Hobsonville that left two people seriously injured just before Christmas. police say.

Police were called at around 11.20pm on December 22 after tTwo people went to a hospital with gunshot woundsDetective Sergeant Megan Goldie said.

“Both victims suffered serious injuries and one remains in hospital.”

Today, police arrested a 29-year-old man believed to be responsible, Waitematā CIB’s Goldie said.
