The women were seriously injured after being run over by car in Stourbridge out of school

West Midlands ambulance service They were called to reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a car outside the Gigmill school on Broadway in Norton around 8.45 am

An ambulance came to the scene and the teams treated the woman before transmitting her to Russells Hall Hospital.

A spokeswoman for the West Midlands ambulance service said: “They called us the reports of an RTC on Broadway in Norton at 8.45 am

“An ambulance was sent to the scene where, upon arrival, the teams found a car and a pedestrian had been involved in a collision.

“The pedestrian, a woman, was treated by potentially serious injuries and transmitted to the Russells Hall Hospital.”

National Express West Midlands Put a message to say that the number 7 service between Dudley and Wollaston Junction had been diverted due to the accident.

The travel provider said the service would deviate along Shestone Avenue, Broadway, Whittington Road, Norton Road and South Road in both directions.

A National Express West Midland spokesman said: “Due to an accident in Broadway in Norton outside the Gigmill school, Wollaston Junction’s services will deviate through Shestone Avenue, Broadway, Whittington Road, Norton Road and South Road and Dudley on the reverse of above.”
