Man seriously injured after driving Sweden at home

Sweden, Maine (Wabi) – A man is seriously injured after driving to a house in Sweden on Wednesday night.

According to the Oxford County Sheriff’s office, Sean Demaggio, 52, of Wilmington Massachusetts, led through an intersection before driving his truck to the house in Lovell Road right after 11.

They say he crossed an outer wall and also knocked down the fireplace in his truck.

Demaggio was taken to the hospital with injuries that threaten life.

They tell us that no one was at home at the time of the accident and there was no one else in the truck.

They say that the accident remains under investigation, although speed is a probable factor.
