Reading: The worker dies days after falling through the trench on the site

A worker who was seriously injured after he fell through a trench in a construction site has died.

The 36 -year -old was working in an address at Amethyst Lane, Reading, around 09:20 GMT of February 19 when the accident occurred.

A spokesman for the Thames Valley police said that the man died on Sunday and that his family is being supported by the officers.

“The circumstances of his death continue to be investigated by the police and HSE and a file for the coroner will be prepared,” added the spokesman.
