Return your mail-in ballots soon

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Time is running out to mail in your ballot. The Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections recommends that you send them back now.

Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Ron Turner is asking voters not to delay returning their mail-in ballots for the Nov. 5 general election. Turner recommends delivering mail-in ballots in person at any of the three election offices or early voting sites.

“It’s too late to mail your ballot and be confident that it will reach us by 7 p.m. on election night,” Turner said. “As many of us are still dealing with the effects of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, I recommend that voters return their ballots by mail, and do so sooner rather than later.”
