Cyclist seriously injured in collision with camper van

A cyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a caravan in Cornwall, police said.

The incident occurred in Treen, on the B3315 near St Buryan, at around 13:40 GMT on Sunday.

The cyclist, a man in his 50s from Penzance, suffered serious injuries and was flown to Derriford Hospital by air ambulance, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

Investigating officers thanked members of the public who stopped to help at the scene and asked for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
