Will George Pickens play for the Steelers against the Browns? NFL Injury Update

The Pittsburgh Steelers face a crucial matchup in Week 14 against the Cleveland Browns. a team that surprised them just two weeks ago with a surprise victory. As the two AFC North rivals prepare for a rematch, fans, especially those with some crucial decisions to make, have one question that needs answering: Will star receiver George Pickens suit up for Pittsburgh?

Pickens expected to play against Browns

Unfortunately, as I write this I can’t give you any more information than Pickens, listed as questionable due to a hamstring injury. It’s still a game-time decision. He was injured late in the Steelers’ Week 13 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, a rare offensive explosion for the team this season. Since then, Pittsburgh has acted cautiously, limiting the 23-year-old in practice all week. While optimism surrounds his status, the team is not ready to commit just yet.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter chimed in and reported: “Steelers WR George Pickens Listed as questionable for Sunday due to a hamstring injury, he is expected to play against the Browns “But the team wants to test him before the game to make sure he’s ready considering he got hurt at the end of the week.”

Translation: Barring setbacks in warmups, Pickens should be on the field. But as anyone who follows the NFL or other sports knows, Hamstring injuries are notoriously complicated and can flare up at the worst possible times.

We will all be watching as the Steelers and Browns take the field before kickoff at 7 pm (ET).
