Nick Bosa checked for concussion after taking a brutal hit from his own teammate against the Lions

Nick Bosa is usually the one causing pain on the football field. In Week 17 of the San Francisco 49ers Monday night football In the matchup against the Detroit Lions, Bosa was the one who absorbed the pain.

During the second quarter of the game, Bosa wrapped up Jared Goff for a sack when teammate Sam Okuayinonu came in to try to give the quarterback something extra. Instead, he rammed his shoulder directly into Bosa’s head.

Bosa stood up holding his helmet and walked to the bench where he entered the blue medical tent to be evaluated.

Bosa was in the store for a short time before leaving with his helmet still on. He made one more trip to the store before medical staff allowed him to return to the game.
