Justice Hill for the finale; Bailey Zappe will start at quarterback for the Browns

The Ravens are entering their regular-season finale against the Cleveland Browns relatively healthy, but running back Justice Hill (concussion/illness) will miss his second straight game.

He still carries his concussion designation after missing last week’s game, but that’s only because he hasn’t taken the field yet.

“The illness is what’s keeping him off the field right now; it’s not the concussion. The concussion is gone,” head coach John Harbaugh said Thursday.

Hill has been a valuable No. 2 running back behind Derrick Henry all season, and especially impactful as a receiver (383 yards, three touchdowns) and pass blocker.

With Hill out, it means more opportunities for Keaton Mitchell and rookie Rasheen Ali, who returned from a hip injury this week. Mitchell had 11 carries for 20 yards and a 28-yard catch-and-run last week replacing Hill.

Starting left guard Patrick Mekari (illness) returned to the field Thursday and is questionable for Saturday’s game. Tight end Charlie Kolar (forearm) is also questionable and would need to be activated from injured reserve to play against the Browns.

Wide receiver Nelson Agholor returned to full practice this week and will play after missing the last two games due to a concussion. Tight end Charlie Kolar (forearm) also participated in full practice this week and could be moved from injured reserve to the 53-man roster.

Cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis will be out for the third straight game with a hamstring injury just before the game against the Giants.

Left tackle Ronnie Stanley and defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike missed practices this week due to illnesses, but do not have injury designations heading into the game.
