Meghan Markle Just Wore a Really Affordable Tank Top, and You Might Have Missed It

We are four days away from 2025 (or, as some coin it, twenty-twenty prosper), and the duchess of sussex is leaving its mark.

Not only did she launch her personal Instagram account @meghan on New Year’s Day, the first since she and the duke of sussex She closed her Sussex Royal account in 2020, but also shared a new trailer for her upcoming Netflix series. Love, Meghanwhich launches on January 15.

While we, like the rest of the world, are excited to dive deep into her creative projects, the fashion hawk-eye in us was captivated by the incredible relaxed-yet-chic, timeless-yet-edgy ensembles she wore in the trailer.

From designers like Ulla Johnson to Emilia Wickstead, Meghan proved that even outside of her official duties, her wardrobe is as glamorous and sophisticated as we’d expect. Alongside her stellar pieces from high-fashion designers, we saw one affordable piece that looked so expensive it matched the rest of her outfits perfectly.

Meghan wore the most elegant beige tank top from the New York-founded brand J Crew. The ‘Basket Knit Sleeveless Sweater’ was a stunning crochet style vest with a ribbed design on the neckline, straps and hem.

While we don’t see what she paired the piece with, it’s incredibly versatile. Pair it with white pants and pumps, jeans and ballet flats, or long shorts and sandals, depending on the occasion.

At full price, the piece sold for £89, but is currently on sale for just £62. Meghan’s muted colorway is already sold out (like everything she wears), but it’s currently still available in black.
