Singapore’s first major CS2 tournament will feature eight of the world’s best CS2 teams fighting for their share of a US$1 million prize pool.

The eight teams competing in BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 are made up of the winners of some of the other major CS2 events of the year, as well as the highest-ranked teams on the BLAST Premier global leaderboard. Here is the full list of teams that will compete at BLAST Premier: World Final 2024:

CS2 BLAST Premier 2024 World Finals Format

The BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 is divided into two distinct phases: the group stage, which will take place from October 30 to 31, and the playoffs, which will take place from November 1 to 3.

The group stage will divide the eight participating teams into two groups of four, each competing in a double-elimination GSL format with best-of-three matches. Three teams from each group will be able to qualify for the Playoffs.

Each group will begin with two Opening Matches, with the winners advancing to the group’s Winners’ Match and the losers advancing to the Elimination Match.

While the two teams in the Winners’ Match of each group will advance to the Playoffs, the winner of this match will claim first place in the group and a direct spot in the Playoff Semifinals. Meanwhile, the winner of the Elimination Match will obtain the last place in the Playoffs of each group, while the loser will exit the tournament early.

Here are the groupings for BLAST Premier: World Finals Group Stage 2024:

• Group A: Astralis, FaZe Clan, MOUZ, Natus Vincere
• Group B: G2 Esports, Team Liquid, Team Spirit, Team Vitality

The Playoffs will follow a single-elimination format with best-of-three matches, except for the Grand Final, which will be a full best-of-five series.

The quarterfinals will feature crossover matches between the second and third-placed teams in each group. After that, the winners of the quarterfinals will advance to the semifinals to face the top two teams from the group stage. The winners of the two Semifinal matches will advance to the Grand Final to fight for the 2024 BLAST Premier world championship.

The BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 will have a prize pool of $1 million and the champions will take home the grand prize of $500,000. Here is the full breakdown of the tournament prize pool:

• 1st: $500,000
• 2nd: $250,000
• 3rd-4th: $85,000
• 5th-6th: $25,000
• 7th-8th: $15,000
