Scunthorpe driver appears in court after woman died in crash on M180

A man has been charged in connection with a crash that killed a 29-year-old woman and left a two-year-old child seriously injured.

A car was traveling on the M180 on Sunday when it left the road and crashed into a tree near Barnetby, Humberside Police said.

Marius Ionut Dencea, who was driving the car, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

The 34-year-old, of Berkeley Street in Scunthorpe, was bailed after appearing at Hull Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
