Milwaukee – An SUV struck and seriously injured a pedestrian in the city of Fond du Lac on Friday night, January 24.

An initial investigation found that the SUV was heading east on Johnson Street, and the pedestrian was struck while attempting to cross both eastbound lanes.

The pedestrian was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the SUV, a 23-year-old young man Fond du lac Man, he wasn’t hurt.

The sheriff’s office said the 23-year-old is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
