Portsmouth attack: five arrested after a 16 -year -old boy was stabbed in the chest

Five people have been arrested under suspicion of murder attempt after a 16 -year -old boy was stabbed in the chest in an attack in the city center.

The teenager was found in Commercial Road, Portsmouth, around 17:25 GMT on Saturday, after an incident in Arundel Street.

He was transferred to the hospital in a serious but stable condition and it is not believed that his wounds endanger his life or change his life.

A 16 -year -old boy, two of 17 and a man of 18, all from Portsmouth, and a 17 -year -old boy from Gosport were arrested and remained in custody, said Hampshire police and Wight’s island.
