Child, seriously injured adults on Route 28 in Falmouth

Two adults and a child were seriously injured on Wednesday night in a three -vehicle accident On Route 28, the Waquoit Highway, in Falmouth, according to the Local Police.

The child was transferred to Boston’s Children’s Hospital to receive treatment “due to the seriousness of his wounds,” said Falmouth police in a statement.

His condition was not known on Wednesday night. Two adults were transported to trauma centers with serious injuries, according to the statement.

The accident occurred at 7:17 pm near Collins Road, according to the statement. Police determined that the driver crossed the median, next to one vehicle before hitting another.

The driver, who was not identified, faces multiple appointments, according to the police.

A driver suffered an injury at the bottom of the leg, which an officer assured with a tourniquete on the scene to stop bleeding, according to the statement.

Falmouth Fire and rescue then transported both adults to the hospital, according to the statement.

The driver found that he was to blame was summoned by negligent driving and a rape of marked lanes and will be summoned to the Court on an un specified date, according to the statement.
