Cyclist, 31, seriously injured after a crash in Diamond Head Gate

A 31 -year -old cyclist is in serious condition after crashing into the door at the entrance of the Diamond Head State monument, according to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services.

EMS responded to the scene just before noon on Wednesday at the entrance of Diamond Head Trail to a “Casco cyclist who lost control down downhill and hit a door, thrown into large rocks.”

The paramedics treated the woman for multiple injuries and took her to the emergency room of a hospital in serious condition.
