A hot liquid left some first and second grade burns on the child’s face, according to Peabody Chief of Firefighters, Jay Dowling.

The incident occurred in the Holiday Inn in Peabody, which has been reused to the migrants of the house, Dowling said.

Due to a language barrier, Dowling said the responders were not sure of the type of liquid that caused the lesions.
