Rescued deer from the icy lake

Update: 12:38 pm

The deer caught in Lake Osoyoos has been taken to the shore on the shore before noon, after the rescue efforts of the locals.

In the photos published on social networks, you can see a single dollar back to the Earth by rope, through frozen sections of the lake.

Despite the warnings of emergency services to not intervene, the locals said they decided to move forward with the rescue anyway. Nathan Ondrus, Hughie Jennings and Adrian Bettenson led the efforts.

“Others told us that apparently, he was there from midnight last night after a dog chased him on the ice and that his leg was bankrupt,” said Stacy Little, owner of a motel of Osoyos. “A group of locals decided to try to help him anyway, so we gathered ropes, straps, kayak, life lives, etc.”

The deer shook the cold water, wandering through a nearby garden, according to the witnesses.

Rescue photos can be seen below.

A deer has been giving up in an ice cream lake of Lakeshore Drive on Sunday morning, and the public is asked not to intervene for emergency services.

In a social media post on Sunday morning, Osoyoos Fire Rescue said he is aware of the presence of deer.

“RCMP and the conservation officer have been depressed this morning. Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done for this animal due to an animal injury,” reads the publication.

The service advises that people do not put themselves in situations that may endanger.

“We do not want this to become a real emergency situation.”
