The terrified passengers were heard on the plane to New York shouting “get us out” in the footage.

United Airlines Flight 1382 stopped abruptly on the track of George Bush’s intercontinental airport in Houston, Texas, before he even took off.

Houston’s firefighters rushed to the airport and helped away passengers from the plane on fire.

According to the reports, they did not have to extinguish any flames for when they arrived.

The authorities are currently investigating the cause of the incident.

The passenger Ashlyn Sharp told Fox News: “(The crew) finally made us go down the emergency slide in the rear (of the plane) when they realized that we were not going to remain in our seats much longer.

“Then, we end up trapped in the asphalt for approximately two and a half hours.

“Finally, they brought a lot of ferries, ambulances and the police arrived.”
