Sacramento Kings striker, Demar Derozan, acknowledged his meeting with Zach Lavine after a successful three teams involving the Kings, Chicago Bulls and San Antonio Spurs on Sunday.

Derozan published a photo of himself with his current teammate of Kings and former teammate of the Bulls in his Instagram history.

According to ESPN’s Shams CharaniaLavine and three first -round teams were sent to the kings, while the star shipowner of’aaron Fox went to the Spurs. The Bulls also received Zach Collins, Tre Jones, Kevin Huert and his own Draft 2025 selection from San Antonio.

Derozan and Lavine were teammates in Chicago of the 2021-22 season through the 2023-24 campaign of the team.

While the Bulls only made an appearance in the playoff during their shared mandate, they combined to gain three stars in that period.

Although Droan left to join the kings in a Signature and Commerce Agreement In July 2024, there never seemed any animosity between the two players. In fact, he asked Lavine to receive the consideration of the stars after a clash between Sacramento and Chicago on January 12.

“The way Zach is playing, I hope you do all-stop,” said Derozan after the game, through Sam Smith of NBA.com. “I hope they will accredit him for the work he has been having; it is not easy. That guy works extremely hard. I remember that the times he was dealing with his knee. He was very frustrated; he just wanted to be there, play and contribute, playing through of injuries “.

“So, seeing it healthy and doing what we all know is capable of doing, it is not surprising to see,” he added. “But it is definitely rewarding.”

In 42 beginnings with Chicago before the exchange, Lavine averaged 24.0 points and 4.8 rebounds to go along with 4.5 assists per game. He shot 51.1 percent of his career from the field and 44.6 percent from three -point territory.

With Sacramento sitting at number 10 in the classification of the West Conference with a 24-24 record, Derozan and Lavine will seek to help the Kings to close the year and compete for a position in the playoffs.
