Children injured early when Van attacks RV parked in Ford County

Dodge City, Kan. (Wibw) – Two children suffered serious injuries and three other people were hospitalized Monday morning when they were in which they were hit a recreational vehicle parked along a Ford County road, authorities said.

The accident was reported at 12:58 am on the US-50 road in west direction, just to the northeast of Dodge City.

According to Kansas road patrol, a Dodge Grand Caravan 2008 was traveling west for US-50 when the driver took the eyes of the road. Then, the minivan left the road and hit a Fleetwood motorhome staked from 1987 that was unoccupied and was struggled on the road shoulder.

Two children in the Minivan suffered serious injuries in the accident and were transported to the Hospital de Misericordia de Niños in Kansas City. They were identified as Nayeli N. Larman, 9, and Mikayla Overton, 3 years old, both from Cimmaron. Nor was it in a security restriction, said the patrol.

The Minivan driver Cayse L. Larman, 32, and two other passengers, Kaden L. Larman, 12, and Daniel N. Larman, 8, all from Cimmaron, suspected minor injuries and were taken to Western Plains Medical Center in Dodge City.

The patrol said Cayse Larman and Kaden Larman wore the seat belts while Danie Larman didn’t wear the seat belt.
