Goldsboro Police investigates the shooting that left one seriously injured

Goldsboro, NC (Witn) – Goldsboro Police is investigating a shooting that left a seriously injured man last night.

The officers responded to a Shotspotter alert around 10:12 pm in the 600 block of Madison Avenue.

Police say they found Kevin Posey, 38, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Posey was taken to UNC Health Wayne to receive treatment. He was later taken to Ecu Medical, where he is in serious condition, according to the police.

Police say that the shooting is isolated and says that there are substantial potential clients.
