Pending charges after accident in the I-95 leaves one dead, another seriously injured

Prince William County Va. (DC News Now) – The Virginia State Police (VSP) said the charges are pending after an accident at the 95 interstate in Prince William County, killed a person and seriously wounded another Tuesday afternoon.

VSP told DC News Now that around 2:40 pm on February 4, a SUV Lexus was stopped on the right shoulder of the I-95 south on the 152 mile score when it was beaten by a work truck Ford.

Police said the truck hit the SUV after it left the right side of the interstatal.

The SUV driver died on the scene. The responders flew to a passenger who was in the SUV to the Fairfax Inova hospital with “serious injuries.”

VSP did not specify the status of the person who conducts the work truck, but added that the charges are pending.
