Report: Oklahoma City Thunder acquiring Daniel Thies of the New Orleans Pelicans

The Oklahoma City Thunder are acquiring the Daniel Theis Center and the drafts of the New Orleans Pelicans compensation, reports Shams Charania de ESPN.

Bobby Marks of ESPN reports that the Pelicans had $ 1.4 million on the luxury tax before reaching the agreement. With Theis and its $ 2.1 million contract of the books, New Orleans is now under the threshold.

Theis, 32, averages 4.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 38 games played this season.

The Salzgitter, Germany, native of the city of Oklahoma, where it will join the Canadian superstar Shai Gilgeous-Alxander and the leader thunder at the West Conference.
