Dogs seriously wounded a 6 -year -old girl at MN de Nanhera

Three dogs attacked and seriously injured a 6 -year -old girl at her nanny’s house in southwest Minnesota, the authorities said Thursday.

The attack occurred on January 26 at a residence in Gante, about 6 miles northwest of Marshall, said the Sheriff of Lyon Eric Wallen County.

An online fund collection campaign He began to help the family with medical expenses said that Zoey Winter was admitted to a Sioux Falls hospital after “suffered multiple bite wounds on the arm, sides and legs, but most importantly, he suffered serious injuries in his ear right”.

The Sheriff said that the owner of the dogs brought the animals with her while visiting the child’s house.

Wallen said the “breed dogs of the Pit Bull or Pit Bull mixture” were removed from the house, placed in quarantine in a kennel in Marshall and declared dangerous on January 27. He said that the owner of the dogs, a 43 -year -old woman from Gante, has 14 days since the beginning of the statement to appeal the designation.

The Sheriff said that investigation reports are being sent to the county prosecutor’s office to consider the charges. Wallen refused to identify the owner of the dogs before making a load decision.

“His mother, Casey, was at work when the attack occurred, but has not left Zoey’s side since then,” said the online campaign. “With Casey that needs to take time out of work to take care of his daughter, and Zoey is out of school in the predictable future, this has put a huge emotional and financial burden for his family.”
