NJ Celimo: Snow, Aguanieve, Expected Clean Roads As State Devices for the Unpleasant Winter Storm

Here we go again.

For the fourth time in nine days, New Jersey is preparing for a Winter storm That is expected to bring a Disaddified snow, eague and frost rain – That could turn some streets and sidewalks into dangerous ice skating clues.

The forecasters say that the storm, which is directed from the Ohio Valley, will be a fast engine. But its impacts will be generalized.

It is expected that some parts of the northern New Jersey will be beaten with 5 to 7 inches of snow, with some possible 8 -inch pockets, the National Meteorological Service saying.

Although much less snow is predicted in the central and southern sections of the state, the warmer air that flows to the storm will convert the snow into aquanieve and then the icy rain.

The forecasters say that up to a tenth of ice inch can accumulate on roads, bridges, sidewalks and parking not treated, creating dangerous conditions for drivers and pedestrians.

The previous forecasts that predict up to a quarter of an inch of ice have been marked in most of the New Jersey centrals and western. But a tenth inch is sufficient for cars and trucks to slide out of control on unrelated roads.

When will snow start?

He New York Meteorological Service Regional Office He says that snow could fall at a speed of 1 to 2 inches per hour in the north of New Jersey on Saturday night for several hours as the storm increases.

The transition from snow to the rain on hole and ice cream will vary widely from one region to another, depending on temperatures at different levels of the atmosphere and soil.

Even if the temperatures in the sky are above the freezing brand and precipitation falls like rain, rain drops will quickly freeze if they land on any surface that is 32 degrees or colder.

The resulting frozen rain, together with Aguanieve, is what the forecasts concerned with the dangerous conditions of the road has.

Mixed rainfall is expected to continue during the night on Saturday and decrease around dawn on Sunday morning, although some light rains could take in the north of New Jersey until the end of the morning.
