Okhla Result of the 2025 elections: AAP’s Sitting MLA Amanatullah Khan leaders

Delhi voted in the elections of the Assembly on February 5, with a final voter participation of 60.44%, according to the Electoral Commission of India. Among the key constituencies is Okhla, where the electorate in the last two elections voted for the AAM AADMI (AAP) match.

AAP is sitting MLA won by a margin of 23,639 votes. Manish Chaudhary of BJP was behind him. Previously, Shifa Ur Rehman Khan of All India Majlis-E-Ttehadul Muslimaen (AIMIM) was following in second position.

AAP MLA, Amanatullah Khan won victories in 2015 and 2020 surveys. His 2020 victory was particularly significant, since he assured 1.3 Lakh of the votes of 1.9 Lakh cast that year. In 2015, he defeated Bu Singh from BJP, solidifying AAP’s control over the constituency.

However, Okhla’s political landscape has not always been. In 1993, Parvez Hashmi won the seat in a Janata Dal ticket before changing to Congress, where he continued his winning streak in 1998, 2003 and 2008. Hashmi’s political career took him to Rajya Sabha in 2009, where he served until 2018.

After Hashmi transition, a vote in 2009 saw Asif Muhammad Khan of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leave victorious. He later challenged and won the elections of the 2013 Delhi Assembly under the Banner of Congress.

While the country awaits the electoral results of 2025, the Majlis-E-Ttehadul Muslimaen from India, directed by Shifa Ur Rehman Khan, is looking at a great advance. Aimim hopes to secure his first seat in the Assembly of Delhi with the growing influence of the party, which makes Okhla a battlefield closely.
