A lot of popular American drinks and sweets have been banned because it contains hazardous chemicals | News UK

An urgent warning has been issued on a series of dangerous American sweets that flood the United Kingdom “containing chemicals related to cancer, heart problems and renal damage.

Various sweets and gaseous drinks imported from US It contains prohibited chemicals in the United Kingdom, according to an investigation carried out by the consumer protection control agency, the Institute of Commercial Standards (CTSI).

The results have caused an urgent alert of Manchester City The Council, which has warned prohibited and illegal additives, can cause hyperactivity, behavioral problems, cancer kidney and other damage to heart organs and problems.

Some of the prohibited ingredients can also make an insulin response less effective, cause vomiting and diarrhea, headaches, dizziness and copper deficiency.

Forbidden products include Jolly Rancher Hard Candy, Fanta Pineapple, Mtn Dew, Fish Swedish, Hydration Prime, Cheetos Crunchy and Twizzlers Strawberry Twists and Rainbow Twists.

Anyone who bought the products listed should look for ingredients to verify if the product is safe to consume and meet the United Kingdom guidelines.

It was found that some of the products listed contain the additive ‘Yellow 6’, a synthetic food dye restricted in Great Britain.

In the United Kingdom, the products that contain this substance, also called ‘Sunset Yellow’ or ‘E110’, should carry a discharge of responsibility indicating that products can cause hyperactivity in children.

Another worrying chemist found was the preservative Edta, which is in the American version of Mountain Dew, but was completely banned in soft drinks in the United Kingdom.

Also called disodium of calcium, the studies of this compound have revealed links with fertility problems, as well as with the development of colon cancers.

Manchester’s warning says: ‘The Chartered Institute of Commercial Standards has issued a warning that imported sweets and soft drinks with bonds known to hyperactivity and cancer have flooded the United Kingdom.

‘Here in Manchester we are taking this very seriously, and the Council’s Environmental Health Team is taking illegal products from local stores. We also urge you not to buy these products for children.

‘We are working hard to protect consumers by eliminating these products from local stores and educating merchants about hazards. If you see a product with one of the prohibited ingredients, inform it to [email protected].
