Australian tourist accused of starting a violent attack that seriously left the wounded security guard

An Australian has been accused of being among a group of five foreigners who attacked a security guard in a violent fight in Bali.

The images of the brutal incident were shared on Instagram, which shows a group of without shirt men who get involved in the fight, and what seems to be a group of police officers trying to intervene.

At one time, one of the without shirt is holding the security guard, while another hits him with a bollard.

Three of the men are apparently fleeing from the scene.

The incident occurred on Tuesday night outside the popular Finns Beach Club in northern Kuta around 9.40 pm

The researchers believe that the incident occurred when a man was removed from the club after allegedly harassing a woman, before lighting the security guards in response after resisting them.

“The security there saw one of the alleged perpetrators strangling another guest sitting at another table,” said Public Relations Head of the Badung Police, Ipda Putu Sukarma.

“The cause was supposedly a row with a woman there.

“The incident ignited emotions (of the Australians). An discussion was inevitable until (he) strangled another client at the table.”

According to local media, Detik, four security guards were involved and had to receive medical treatment at the Hydro Medical Clinic in Tegal Gundul, Tibubeneng,

The guard who was beaten with a bollard suffered serious injuries on his face, including broken lower teeth, broken nose and a bad cut on the back of the head.

He was rescued when other guards intervened, before tourists made the decision to leave the scene.

According to the reports, a guard suffered a bite wound in his hand and cut off his elbow, while another had swollen behind his left ear and abrasions on the cheek and a room suffered bruises on the cheek.

Sukarma said the police were investigating the incident and was still looking to find the author since there were no arrests yet.

“The foreigner is suspicious as one of the perpetrators. Therefore, the author is still being persecuted by officers,” Sukarma said.

Finns Beach Club is one of the most popular party destinations for tourists on the island of Indonesia.

It offers “parties of the whole day, drinks at sunset and the best day.”
