Controversy in the challenge of stars? Yes. And the Cavaliers won the event.

San Francisco – In a weekend that Adam Silver has emphasized respecting the All-Star event and taking it seriously, the first thing that most fans saw was the Chris Paul and Victor Wembanyama Spurs team trying to play the system.

It turns out that there is a rules book (well, a page) that governs the NBA All-Star Saturday Night skills challenge. Oh really. Paul and Wembanyama were disqualified by not doing a “valid“Attempt to shoot the ball: an NBA executive went out with rules to show Paul where he said that.

“If they were not disqualified, I think we would probably have done the same to be honest with you,” said the Cavaliers Donovan Mitchell. “Play to win, I suppose.”

With the Spurs out of the way, the Cleveland Cavaliers team of the Evan Mobley and Mitchell stars won the event.

In the finals of the event, they were the Cavaliers against the Warriors, Draymond Green and Moses Moody, in what was an environment of setback of the appropriate finals. The bad news for the Warriors fans who filled the Chase center, was more that remembers 2016, when Green disappointed the Warriors, did it again and Cleveland was bothered at home.

But all we are going to talk about is the Spurs that try to deceive a victory.
