IWayaya de Japan promises to advance with sanctions against Russia

Japanese Foreign Minister, Takehi Iweaya, said on Saturday he told his group of seven counterparts at the day meeting in Munich, Germany, that Japan is still determined to strongly promote support for Ukraine and sanctions against Russia for their invasion of the neighboring country.

Iware made the comment after the president of the United States, Donald Trump, expressed his desire to achieve a stop early fire in Ukraine through direct negotiations with Russia.

Regarding the situation in Palestine, Iwaya said at the group of seven group that Japan will play an active role not only in providing urgent humanitarian assistance but also in offering medium, and long -term support for recovery and reconstruction, according to the minister .

On Saturday, Iweaya had conversations with NATO general secretary, Mark Rutte, and agreed to try to deepen relations between Japan and NATO based on the recognition that the safety of the Euro -Roman and indopacific regions is inseparable.

Iware also met with Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi. At the meeting, the Japanese Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of the constant implementation of the high fire between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas and said that Japan will work in close collaboration with Jordan towards a “solution of two states” in the that Palestine and Israel coexist.
