“They have been impressed with how he could learn about his teammates in the march,” Charania said on Saturday about NBA countdown. “They feel that LeBron James-Esque is really in the way he has tried to meet his teammates. He wants to make them better. ”

The 25 -year -old guard was changed from the Dallas Mavericks on February 1 in exchange for Anthony Davis in an exchange of three teams. It has quickly become a key figure within the Lakers organization.

In addition to his efforts to build chemistry, Dončić has taken seriously conditioning and practice from moving. That comes after the reports that the Mavericks were frustrated by what they perceived as a “lack of discipline,” according to ESPN’s Dave Mcmenamin.

“He has been doing daily work on the court and in the weight room,” Charania said. “Even to the point where it was carried out by Break All-Star … He worked with Scott Brooks every day while he was there.”

The five-time All-Star had played only 22 games before the exchange, with the Mavericks believing that their struggles with the injuries were largely due to conditioning. The reports indicated that their weight had “globalized the high 260” at the beginning of the season, according to McMenamin.
