Seriously injured in Augusta Crash in Deans Bridge Road

Augusta, Georgia (WRDW/Wagt) – A person is in serious condition after being injured in an important car accident in Augusta.

The single vehicle accident occurred around 9:15 pm on Sunday in the 2700 block of Deans Bridge Road, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s office.

Upon arrival, the agents were able to determine that the driver of the vehicle was traveling north by Deans Bridge Road at high speed.

The driver lost control of the vehicle, which crossed the median in the lanes to the south of the Deans bridge and overturned.

The driver was taken and taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

There was no more information available on Sunday night.
