Humberside police launches more operations driving videos

A U turning on the Humber bridge and dangerous overtaking are among the latest examples of bad driving videos that have been sent to the Humberside police.

The footage has been published as part of Operation Snap, which allows public members to send Dashcam and other force video tests.

Since April 2023, almost 6,000 examples of poor driving have been presented with 4.016 leading to additional action, external.

Police said online charges had simplified investigations and allowed them to have a “specific and robust approach to monitor roads.”
