Al Trautwig, Voice of MSG Network for a long time, dead at 68

The MSG network announcer for a long time, to Trautwig, died, his former teammate Alan Hahn revealed in an X publication.

He was 68 years old.

In the interview, Trautwig said he had been “clear, and now it’s just a matter of improving.”

Trautwig’s transmission career covered numerous decades, with sports fans of the metropolitan area most familiar with him of his work in MSG Network, as well as his time in ABC, NBC and use Network.

The national public knows Trautwig better for his work that covers the Olympic Games, with the station even making a cameo in the Disney classic “Cool Runnings”, which told the story of the debut of the National Team of Bobsleigh Jamaican.

“He was not only a friend, but a mentor and a teacher. He personally, one of my greatest support resources when I moved to this race, ”Hahn wrote in a tribute in X.
