The anger incident on the road on Whatrei leaves one seriously injured

A person was seriously injured in an incident of the road anger on Whatrei that covered more than 13 km.

Sergeant Detective Paul Overton said the motorist was injured in an alleged assault around 5.45 pm on Monday.

It was believed that the incident began in Crawford Cres in Te Kamo and ended in Ngumine RD, on the coast of Tūtūkākā.

Overton said two people were arrested and spoken. He believed that more people could have been involved.

The police are requesting information about the incident.
