Az man accused of allegedly killing a 1 -year daughter in front of the mother

Show Low, Az-A Grande jury of Arizona has accused a man in the fatal shooting of his 1 year daughter, and prosecutors say he carried out the crime with an AR style rifle in front of the girl’s mother.

The accusation issued earlier this month accuses Adam Joseph Montoya, 27, with two serious crimes: second degree murder and child abuse. Montoya declared himself innocent of the charges.

The shooting took place on a house in Show Low, a small mountain community about 180 miles northeast of Phoenix, said the office of the County Prosecutor of Navajo in a statement.

Emergency responders took the baby to a medical center in Show Low, where it was declared dead, prosecutors said. Both Navajo County Prosecutor and Police Bajo refused to comment more about the case.

Montoya is stopped with a $ 1 million bonus.
