Nupur Sharma, the former BJP spokesman whose comments against the prophet Muhammad in 2022 incense of Indian Muslims and the indignant Islamic nations, was seen in Prayagraj’s Maha Kumbh Mela While there was a sacred sauce in Triveni Sangam.

Sharma’s comments, made in a television debate at the end of May in 2022, had led to massive outrage. The Supreme Court had said that “its loose language has set fire to the whole country” and blamed it for “lighting emotions throughout the country.”

The judges also observed that “his outburst was responsible for the unfortunate incident in Udaipur,” a reference to the decapitation of two Muslim men of a Hindu tailor who had supported Sharma on social media platforms.

After the protests of several Islamic nations, including the EAU, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Iran, for their controversial comments, the BJP suspended Nupur Sharma from the party.

In a statement, the BJP had said that it was “against any ideology that insults or degrrates any sect or religion” and added that it did not “promote those people or philosophy.”
