The child of the younger girl in whose complaint a case was recorded on Monday under the law against the bus driver who issued a video statement that said to withdraw the case and requested that they stop climbing the matter that has become a problem of language between Karnataka and Maharashtra.

Four people were arrested for allegedly assaulting the bus driver of the state transport corporation for not responding to a passenger in Marathi.

Later, the younger girl presented a contradictory that alleged that the bus driver had misbehaved with her based on which a case under protection for children was recorded under the Law of Sexual Crimes (Pocso) against the driver.

The incident that occurred on Friday on the outskirts of the city of Belagavi of the Belagavi headquarters of the headquarters of the district that borders Maharashtra has now become a tension between the two states.

The family said they have decided to withdraw the case voluntarily and asked everyone not to intensify the matter.

“Injustice has happened to our daughter, looking at the situation, we will withdraw the case, we request to stop all this. There is no pressure from anyone to withdraw the case, we voluntarily remove the case,” he added.

Responding to a consultation if the case of Pocso was withdrawn against the driver director of the bus, said the Belagavi police commissioner, Iada Martin Marbaniang, to PTI, found the video statement through the media in which the The girl’s family has expressed that they want to withdraw the case, but they have not done so.
