The United States Supreme Court throws Oklahoma’s inmate, Richard Glossip’s death sentence

The United States Supreme Court has ruled out the conviction for murder against Oklahoma Death Row Roward Glossip’s inmate.

The court made the decision on Tuesday after a key witness lied in the Court and the prosecutors held information about Glossip.

The Court’s decision means that prosecutors now have to decide whether to put Glossip again in the trial again.

Judge Sonia Sotomayor, writing for the court, said the Prosecutor’s Office “violated her constitutional obligation to correct false testimony.”

As a result, he wrote: “Glossip has the right to a new test.”

In 1997, Glossip was convicted of organizing the murder of his boss at the Oklahoma City motel where they worked.

The 67 -year -old has been in the death corridor since 1998.
