Man sentenced by adolescent Phoenix sex traffic through state lines

Phoenix (azfamily) – A man from Nevada has been sentenced to more than a decade after bars after being convicted of sexual trafficking.

The United States prosecutor’s office announced on Thursday that Tyree Eugene Rideaux, 31, of Henderson, Nevada, was sentenced to 11 years in prison and 15 years of supervised liberation for the sexual traffic of a teenager who met at a party in Phoenix.

Prosecutors say Rideaux met the girl when she was 16 at a party in August 2021. At that time, the girl traveled with two other girls or women to Inglewood, California, a suburb of Los Angeles. While he was there, he told the girl to pretend that he was 18 years old and was placed in the “blade”, an infamous area known for prostitution.

While in southern California, Rideaux, according to reports, gave the girl a false name and published her online sexual ads. Then he returned the money he returned. A few days later, the girl convinced one of the sexual buyers to take her to the hospital where she could call the police and return home.

“The predators that assign adolescents and force them to prostitution to support the lifestyle of the trafficker deserve the hardest prayers,” said internal prosecutor Rachel C. Hernández. “I am satisfied with the excellent results in this case that occurred through the diligent efforts of our laws on the law and our prosecutors.”

Earlier this month, a new state work force was announced to stop trafficking in the state and form a new legislation to address the problem. This working group arrives months later Arizona voters approved proposition 313that sends children’s sexual traffickers sentenced to prison for life.
