Three teenagers were arrested after a police officer was seriously injured by a brick thrown through the window of an unmarked car in Leeds.

The incident occurred on Monday night when a brick was thrown into the vehicle in Coronation Parade, in the Halton Moor area of ​​the city, said West Yorkshire police.

An official woman who was in the car was treated at the hospital for serious facial injuries, the force said.

The children, 15, 16 and 17, were arrested under suspicion of wounds with criminal intention and damage.
