The group, concerned with the Nigerians, led by its national coordinator, Obinna Francis, said in a statement on Monday, March 3 that discovered a conspiracy aimed at stopping the supply of crude oil to national refineries.

According to Francis, the alleged scheme is being orchestrated by a clique inside the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), in collusion with lower quality gasoline importers.

He affirmed that the objective is to frustrate the government’s economic reforms, which has led to a reduction in fuel prices and a corresponding fall in food costs.

The group also assumed that those behind the plot intends to reverse Nigeria to an era of importation of gasoline and subsidy payments.

Francis added that the Cabal Plan includes sabotaging the exploration and distribution infrastructure, creating artificial shortage and inciting public outrage against the administration.

The group has requested President Tinubu and the State Services Department (DSS) to intervene urgently.

The group said that the plot, if not controlled, will reverse the profits obtained and submerge the country in economic agitation.

They urged the president to ensure that no official inside NNPCLNUPRC, or any related agency undergoes progress in the energy sector.

Dangote gasoline supposedly cheaper than imported fuel

In another report, importers of oil products They have supposedly lamented The continuous price of gasoline by the Dangote refinery.

Some of the importers revealed that the concessionaires said they could be forced to reduce their prices after importing at a high cost, since consumers would now sponsor filling stations that sell cheaper fuel.

Dangote Refinery recently reduced the Ex-Depot gasoline price in N65, below N890 to N825 per liter.
