The Dodgers teammate shares a 6 -words response to Shohei Ohtani Leshury Shocker

Los Angeles Dodgers can expect to open the 2025 season on the way to repeat as World Series champions.

The team retained its core of future Sluggers of the Hall of Fame, also added star pitchers like Blake Snell, Tanner Scott and Roki Sasaki. These additions could have seemed superfluous this winter, but the depth of the dodgers was Seriously tested in the Playoffs race of the 2024 team.

“The injuries, of course, were always a central theme in the 2024 of the Dodgers,” Jack Harris wrote for Los Angeles Times. “The arduous regular season, which began a week before South Korea and concluded with a division race that was not established until the last week of September, rarely gave the alignment the opportunity to recover its breath.”

The Dodgers saw several star players fell with injuries that end the season, including the acquisition of Blockbuster Tyler Glasnow and the icon of the Clayton Kershaw franchise. But an even larger injury blow was avoided by little, since the bidirectional superstar Shhehei Ohtani partially dislocated his shoulder and laughed his left labrum as he slid towards the second base during the World Series.

Many other players would have required a significant recovery period, but the rapid recovery of Ohtani startled his teammate Freddie Freeman.

“When you leave your shoulder like him, you can’t usually lift your arm on your head,” Freeman said, according to Harris. “And I saw him enter the training day in New York and lift his arm completely on his head.”

Freeman shared his surprised response to the news that Ohtani was relatively unscathed after that injury.

“I had to touch it before game 3 to make sure it was real,” Freeman told Harris with a smile. “I thought, ‘How is this man doing this?'”

As Dodgers seek to repeat as World Series champions in 2025, they can expect a better kind of injuries. But it seems that Ohtani, a unicorn in many ways, is capable of resisting serious wear and tear.
