Syracuse man sold fentanyl bricks, meth and guns, prosecutors say

Syracuse, NY – A Syracuse man sold fentanyl, methamphetamine and guns, including some he brought from Maine to sell on the streets of Syracuse, prosecutors said.

Uqoeon Lawrence, 28, admitted in federal court on Friday to four charges related to firearms trafficking and possession of drugs and weapons, according to a statement from the Northern District Court of New York.

On June 26, 2023, a search warrant was executed at Lawrence’s apartment at 250 Thurber St., prosecutors said in a criminal complaint. They found Lawrence inside, as well as a shotgun and bricks of fentanyl.
