The Witcher’s Freya Allan wraps filming on season four and reveals a special gift

Production in The long-awaited season 4 of The Witcher It appears to be coming to an end, and Ciri star Freya Allan is celebrating in a sort of Witcher tradition. Allan took to Instagram to thank her. fellow Rats co-stars for a great season, calling it “the most special season” in his post, but Allan wasn’t done. Allan also shared portraits he created of his co-stars, which he later gave away. If this sounds a little familiar, there used to be a tradition where Henry Cavill would send a wrapped gift after production wrapped, and now Allan has put his own spin on it (H/T Redanian intelligence).

The portraits he revealed were of Mistle (Christelle Elwin), Iskra (Aggy K. Adams), Giselher (Ben Radcliffe), Reef (Juliette Alexandra), Kayleigh (Fabian McCallum) and Asse (Connor Crawford), which you can see in the post from Instagram below. In that post he wrote: “Mistle, Iskra, Giselher, Reef, Kayleigh, Asse. I love you all. Thank you for the most special season of @witchernetflix.”

There are also photos of Allan celebrating a moment with several cast members, but then there’s a post showing Allan giving the portrait in a frame to Adams, which you can see. see here (via @sixofzoya). It’s amazing that they had such a good time on set, and it bodes well for the show when fans finally get to see season four unfold.

something special

Ciri met The Rats in the final episode of season 3, and her history with them will be a major part of season 4 and beyond. While we’ll likely have to wait a bit to see this come to life on screen (after all, filming on Season 4 is supposed to wrap toward the end of this month), we do have some clues as to what fans can expect. expect from group courtesy of interview with casting director Sophie Holland.

“I recently had a really lovely opportunity with a very special, almost stand-alone episode of The Witcher’s fourth season, which explores a completely new group of people. We were able to find almost all new talent,” Holland said. Deadline. “We found a guy named Connor Crawford for The Continental, who had all his scenes with Mel Gibson in the hotel bunker, and we were able to put him in this group of kids in The Witcher. He is very special. The whole group is very interesting in terms of talent: Christelle Elwin, Juliette Alexandra, Ben Radcliffe. You meet the characters in season three and then they come to life in season four.”

Season 4 will supposedly end this month, and will be followed by a four-month break. Filming will then begin on season 5, which was previously revealed to be the final season of the main show. There has been talk of other spin-off projects and animated films like Nightmare of the Wolf appear to be continuing, but time will tell what else is in store for the franchise. For now, we still have two great seasons to look forward to and whatever happens in the video games too, so there are plenty of options for fans of the franchise.
